For over twenty years Alan Draper has been landlord
and chef of the Robin Hood Inn in the village
of Elkesley, on the A1 trunk road, just South of the Nottinghamshire
market town of Retford.
Over the years he has built up a formidable
reputation for interesting, high quality food cooked to the highest
standards – but at very competitive
prices. All food is cooked to order and regular
visitors experience regular menu changes to keep the experience exciting. A full range of ales, lagers, wines – a very good value selection – and spirits
is always available. Three excellent cask
conditioned ales such as Flowers IPA, Marstons
Pedigree and Boddingtons Bitter, are usually
on tap.
While as a pub normal hours are kept food is served from Monday lunch time through
until Sunday lunch, with traditional roasts
in addition to the always-available à la
carte menu. From Monday dinner through to
Thursday dinner a special value Mid-week
Menu is available – the same quality and ingredients but at
very economical prices.
Meals are served in our Main Dining Room where there is no smoking and in the Bar/Diner where smoking is permitted.
Booking is always advised. We look forward to seeing you.
